*This only Pertains to Furnace County Voters

1. All Furnas County registered voters who live in the Cambridge School District will receive new corrected ballots
2. The Furnas County Clerk’s Office will reject ballots without the clerk’s initials returned to the office. The Furnas County Clerk’s office will contact voter’s whose ballots are rejected due to missing initials if they have not also returned a corrected ballot.
3. If a voter still has their incorrect ballot (without the initials), they have two options:
   • a. If the voter has not yet marked their ballot, they can take their unmarked, incorrect ballot to the Furnas County Clerk’s Office, and the clerk’s office can initial it, which corrects the ballot and makes it acceptable for voting. The voter can then complete the ballot and return it, OR
   •  The voter can destroy the incorrect ballot and wait for the second, corrected ballot to arrive in the mail. The voters should then return the corrected, initialed and completed ballot to the clerk’s office.
4. Ballots are due back to the Furnas County Clerk’s Office by 5:00 p.m. on August 12, 2025. Ballots may be returned in person, dropped in the Election Drop Box in front of the Courthouse, or mailed. Late ballots will not be accepted.
5. Nebraska voters can check the status of their ballots online at ne.gov/go/votercheck.
